Parade of Nations 2019

September is National Hispanic Heritage Month, and Maxwell students learned about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. On Sept. 27, students shared their family’s cultural history with the entire school during the assembly. Students represented their heritages by dressing and carrying the flags of their families’ native countries.  This was a special time to celebrate the rich cultural diversity that is special at Maxwell Elementary.
