NTI Days

Fayette County Public Schools will be using NTI weather days in place of severe weather closings or delays. You may read highlights of the plan.

During the winter months, Chromebooks will be sent home with students daily. When severe weather is forecast to impact our area, the district will notify all staff and families via email, phone call, text message, and social media when an NTI weather day, delay, or school closure will be used.

Maxwell students will use Google Classroom and/or Seesaw to complete lessons on an NTI weather day. Your student’s teacher will be sending home login information and an overview of the class resources. Students will receive asynchronous instruction. Zoom links will be made available to families and teachers will have contact office hours from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

If you have any questions about instruction, please contact your child’s teacher.  If you have any additional questions, please contact the school administration, Matthew Spottswood or Tara Haywood.
